White Knight is the leader of Providence. He is very determined to stop the Evo's. He is scared of coming into contact with the Evo's or the the Nanites (which are so wide spread they are in every living thing on the planet but most are dormant and harmless). As far as anyone can tell he never leaves the sterilized room he calls an office, as apparent by his flour white skin and that he keeps a jar of milk in a drawer. Even though he is the leader of Providence, it seems as though he isn't a 'good guy.'
